The PICNIC Project

The PICNIC Project helps guide parents and carers through the unpredictable and often stressful journey of feeding infants and children.

We help parents understand children’s normal, erratic ‘learning to eat’, and provide supportive feeding tools. This helps families avoid food battles, work with children’s ‘fussiness’ and positively influence their eating patterns throughout life. The PICNIC Project is currently being run on the Mid North Coast, Central Coast and starting in Western NSW.

Join now to become a PICNIC Parent or check out the feeding tips and tools on this site.

The PICNIC Project is a partnership between new parents and experienced dietitians on the NSW Mid North Coast.

We have created a program which is effective, improving parents feeding practices, their children’s nutrition and is best suited for parent’s needs.
